UBA Considers Investment Opportunities At The WEF

Kennedy Uzoka

Hello Reader,

The United Bank for Africa (UBA), has hinted it would be well represented at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), taking place in

Davos, Switzerland.

According to a statement on Tuesday, The bank’s CEO, Kennedy Uzoka, would lead a senior executive team, to one of the highly essential events on the global economic diary.

In a statement, The UBA delegation would discuss with global business and political leaders during the programme. Among the delegates are the Group Head of Correspondent Banking, Sola Yomi-Ajayi and Head of Embassies and Development Organizations (EMDOs), Dupe K. Olusola, in charge of relationships with multilateral and development organizations.

The UBA’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Kennedy Uzoka stated that it was necessary that the Bank joined world business and political leaders to discuss key issues critical to the progress of their world, and with particular relevance to the African continent:

The Bank believed, “UBA has established itself as one of Africa’s leading financial institutions, with presence in 19 African countries, as well as globally in London, New York and Paris. The event will provide a forum for UBA to build engagement with international institutions.

”Despite the strong economic headwinds across Africa currently, the Group has committed to increasing its pan-African footprint. Its strengths in corporate banking, payment technology, trade finance, and its millions-strong customer base make UBA a natural partner for global businesses focused on the African opportunity,” it emphasized.

The CEO continued, that UBA was the natural partner for those seeking to have access to business opportunities in Africa, and that they looked forward to engaging with the world’s business community, to show that Africa was open to business and that UBA was prepared to partner, (thecitizenng.com).

What more can we say than to wish the Bank a successful business outing to Davos, Switzerland, and strengthened business relationships with partners. The time to think and act is now; these are life and business essentials, so let’s keep thinking clearly! Thank you for reading and do have a beautiful day!
